Players receiving blue cards during a match
will have to spend a period of 4 minutes in a sin bin area (behind
their goalmouth), 2 blue
cards in the same match will result in that player being suspended for the remainder of the match
and removed from the playing area before the match will resume.
The Player will then serve a league suspension as per
competition rules and if necessarily and G.F.A. suspension.

All free kicks are direct and players must give at least 5 yards.

The ball is allowed over head height.

Goalkeepers must throw the ball out (under arm or over arm) at all
times or a free kick shall be awarded 5 yards outside the
offending goalkeepers area. No deliberate Kicking of the
ball is allowed by the goalkeeper, a direct free kick 5 yards outside the offending
goalkeepers area unless a goal is denied when a penalty kick shall be
awarded.

The FIFA backpass rule does not apply to the D.K.L Sports 6 - a -
side league, goalkeepers may pick up the back passes in open play.
However when the goalkeeper releases the ball to a colleague a direct backpass is
not permitted (a third player must touch the ball legally before
the backpass is allowed). A free kick shall be awarded 5 yards outside the area
of the offending goalkeeper unless the goalkeeper denies a goal
when a penalty shall be awarded.

A direct backpass to the goalkeeper is also not permitted direct from
a free kick or kick in or a start or re-start of the match after
a goal has been scored. A free kick shall be awarded
against the offending goalkeeper 5 yards outside the area
unless the goalkeeper denies a goal when a penalty shall be awarded.

Players are allowed in the penalty areas, but no contact on the
goalkeepers is permitted (a free kick to be taken by an outfield
player shall be awarded). If the goalkeeper leaves the penalty area intentionally a
penalty shall be awarded or if unintentional a free kick 5 yards
outside the penalty area, the Referee will determine what is
intentional and none intentional). Note, the penalty taker can take as many
steps as required.

No slide tackles or tackles from the floor or playing the ball
from the floor is permitted. A free
kick shall be awarded against the offending team or penalty if
within the offenders own penalty area.

If the ball goes out of play, the referee shall award a kick in, a
corner, or a goalkeepers ball, whichever is appropriate a goal
CAN
NOT be scored direct from a kick in, corner or from the
keepers throw out.

The first name in the referees book will start the match from the
centre spot. It is possible to score direct from a centre kick.
After a team has scored, the game shall restart from the centre
spot.

All teams should wear identical shirts, bibs will be provided to
one team per match if required BUT only in the
case of a colour clash.

All players must wear shin pads. This is for your own protection
and is a requirement of the Football Association. No moulded or
studded footwear is allowed.

A team can consist of a squad of 9 players per match. A rolling
substitution system will be in force allowing players to come off
and on as many times as they wish, up to 3 substitutes are allowed
per game. Substitutions will be made on the half way line. The
referee must be notified before a substitution is being made and
only when there
is a stoppage in play.

All league and Cup Group matches are of a 34 minute duration (17 min each way)

The wearing of jewellery is not permitted in matches and any
player deemed by the referee or D.K.L. Sports representative to
be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to play.

All matches carry 3 points for a win, 2 points for a score draw,
and 1 point for a no score draw.

Players can only play for one team (Unless transferred) and must be registered with
D.K.L

and all players are therefore subject to G.F.A. disciplinary
action if required.
